The adventure begins in Ha Giang City, the gateway to the stunning Ha Giang Loop. We’ll start the day by heading towards the Bac Sum Pass, where the sweeping views of the valley below will leave you in awe. Our next stop, Quan Ba Heaven Gate, is another iconic viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the twin peaks of Quan Ba Mountain – also known as the “Fairy Bosom.”
We’ll make our way to Nam Dam, a charming ethnic minority village, where you’ll have the opportunity to experience the hospitality of the locals. From there, we’ll journey through the picturesque Lung Tam Valley, famous for its hemp weaving, before stopping at Yen Minh for a quick break. The winding road continues, taking us through Tham Ma Road, one of the most scenic and challenging sections of the route.
In the afternoon, we’ll arrive at the historic Hmong King Palace in Dong Van Town, where you’ll learn about the fascinating history of the Hmong people and their cultural heritage. We’ll spend the night in Dong Van Town, a quaint town nestled in the mountains, where you can rest and reflect on the day's incredible experiences.

Day 2: Dong Van to Ha Giang – Scenic Views and the Famous Ma Pi Leng Pass
On Day 2, we head south toward Meo Vac, a small town surrounded by majestic mountains. Our first major stop will be the breathtaking Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the most famous mountain roads in Vietnam, offering stunning views of the Nho Que River far below. This dramatic road, carved into the cliffs, is a highlight of the Ha Giang Loop and will leave you speechless.
After soaking in the views, we’ll head to Mau Due Commune before retracing our steps toward Yen Minh and Quang Ba. Along the way, you’ll get more chances to snap photos of the amazing landscapes and interact with the local ethnic communities.
Our journey continues back to Ha Giang City, where we’ll arrive in the evening, completing the loop of this thrilling day of mountain exploration.

As we make our way toward Duong Thuong Valley Road, the stunning landscapes of rice terraces, deep ravines, and traditional stilt houses will remind you of the untouched beauty of rural Vietnam. After a scenic drive, we’ll stop in Bac Me for a delicious lunch before heading back to Ha Giang City to conclude the tour.
This final leg of the trip offers one last chance to take in the remote beauty of the region before returning to the hustle and bustle of Ha Giang City.
